Description

This is the deposit for hourly service (typically this is for wine tours, pub crawls, weddings, proms, etc.) with Van in Black using one of our SUVs that seat up to 6 people (vehicle is a Mercedes-Bens GLS 450). The hourly rate for this vehicle is $90 per hour with a 4 continuous hour minimum.  Your deposit is the hourly minimum and the final amount (minus the deposit) will be due at the end of your booking and can be paid by either cash or card (Visa, Master Card, or American Express).  Note that while the maximum capacity of our SUVs are 6 people, they are most comfortable at 4-5 people.  If you have 6 people you should consider upgrading to a van.

After a deposit is paid and your date is secured, someone from Van in Black will contact you to confirm the booking, answer any questions, and work out the details of your booking as each booking is custom.  We work with each group to come up with the itinerary based on location, desired duration, and other preferences. You are going to love your experience with the Van in Black!

Want something larger?  We also have an 11 passenger van, 14 passenger van, 14 passenger luxury van, and 12 passenger limo van.  We also have an all electric SUV as an option.

A few terms and conditions for this booking:

  • Our fee is for transportation only and does not include any fees charged by the places visited (e.g. wine tasting fees, beer flights, etc.).
  • Groups can’t be larger than 6 people (that is the maximum capacity of SUVs).  If your group size is larger than this, please contact us to discuss options.
  • Deposits are non-refundable and dates can’t be rescheduled.  No exceptions (including COVID-19).

  • Very important – our service area for this booking includes departures from the following cities only.  Anything booked not in these regions will incur drive time (the time it takes to get to you):
    • Charlotte, NC
    • Asheville, NC (including Arden, Fletcher, Swannanoa, and Black Mountain)
    • Greenville/Spartanburg, SC
    • Hendersonville, NC (including Flat Rock)
    • Lake Lure/Chimney Rock/Rumbling Bald areas
    • The Tryon, NC area (including Columbus & Saluda)
    • The Appalachian mountain cities of North Carolina (Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, etc.)
    • Hickory, NC
